This policy explains what data the EVA AI mobile app collects, why it is collected, and what rights you have over it.
In short: we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. No account is required. Everything we collect exists to find you a nearby, affordable charging station.
What: Your device’s approximate or precise location (latitude and longitude).
Why: “Which stations are near me” is a question that cannot be answered without a location. Without it we cannot tell you which station is close or cheap.
How it is used: Your location is sent to our server to look up nearby stations and to start directions. It is not stored after the request; we keep no location history on the server.
Permission: You can decline in the app. The app keeps working, but the station list cannot be shown — because there is no “nearby” to compute.
What: A random identifier (UUID) generated by the app on first launch, and a signing key belonging to it.
Why: To verify that requests genuinely come from the app, and to tie your subscription to your device.
Important: This is not an advertising ID, not a hardware identifier (IMEI, MAC, Android ID), and it does not identify you. It is lost when you uninstall the app.
What: Make, model, battery capacity, connector type and charge level.
Where stored: On your device only, encrypted. Make and model are never sent to our server.
What does reach the server: Connector type and charge level, used to filter stations. Real-world identifiers such as licence plate or VIN are never collected.
What: If you connect an OBD-II Bluetooth adapter: battery percentage, estimated range, speed, odometer and charging state.
Why: So you do not have to type your charge level, and so we can warn you when it drops.
How: Pairing happens in your phone’s own Bluetooth settings. The app only reads from an already-paired adapter; it does not scan for nearby devices and does not use Bluetooth to infer your location.
Entirely optional. If you do not connect an adapter, this data is never produced.
We send a notification when your battery drops below 50% and below 30%. You can decline the permission or turn it off later.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. The following services are used to make the app work:

When you start directions, your phone’s maps app opens and receives the destination; from that point its own privacy policy applies.

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/EEA and the UK, CCPA in California), you have the right to:
In the app: Settings → Delete my data.
By email: Write to gokturkalazdaghan@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Requests are handled within 30 days.
Uninstalling the app deletes the data on your device; to remove the subscription record on the server, use one of the routes above.

EVA AI is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, we publish the current version at this address and notify you in the app. The “Last updated” date appears at the top.
